Chatpata Chola
Spiced chickpea snack (chatpata chola) with tangy and savory flavors, a popular Bengali street food often served with puffed rice.
Preparation
Soak chola overnight. This step may be skipped if using canned chickpeas.
Cooking
Pressure cook with 3 cups water and salt. 4 whistles on high flame.
Drain water.
Heat oil in kadai.
Add red chilli and mustard seeds. Let seeds
Then add curry leaves and fry for 30 sec on medium heat.
Then add boiled chola and fry for 2-3 min.
Adjust salt per taste.
Serve with fresh lime wedges.
