Cooking

Heat oil in a kadhai. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and dry red chilly.

Add onions and fry on medium heat for 1-2 minutes till they begin to soften.

Do not brown the onions.

Add tomato, turmeric, and salt. Fry on medium heat for 3-4 minutes.

Add ground peanuts, mix, and remove from heat.

Adding peanuts is optional and may be skipped.

Garnish with cilantro (dhaniya) and green

Serve with rotis, or with upma.
