This is a item that is tasty and is simply made from vegetable skin of lauki which is usually discarded.

Cooking

Heat oil in a kadai.

Add sliced onions and fry till brown and soft. Remove and keep aside To the same oil add dry chillies. Then add boiled vegetable skin and fry on medium heat for 5 min. Then add salt and fry for an additional 5 min until cooked.

Add fried onions to the vegetable and mix well. Cook for 1 min and remove from heat.

Serving Suggestions

Serve with hot rice and dal.
