Fish with Vegetables (White Pomfret Fish)
Preparation
Rub a pinch of salt, turmeric, chilli powder
Marinate the fish with vinegar and aji no moto.
Time = 20-30 minutes
Cooking
Heat oil in a kadhai and fry the fish well on both sides. Remove and keep aside.
To the same oil add ginger and garlic paste.
Fry on low heat.
Add the vegetables and fry for 2-3 minutes on medium-low heat.
Add water to cover the vegetables. When vegetables are almost cooked add the fish and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Then add chilli powder, pepper, soya sauce, and tomato sauce. Mix and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Mix cornflour well in 2 tbsp milk and add to thicken the gravy. Then add sugar and a pinch of aji no moto. Remove
