Chicken Pakora
Crispy deep-fried chicken fritters coated in spiced gram flour batter, a popular Indian appetizer.
Preparation
Marinate chicken with finely chopped garlic, coriander leaves, green chilly, salt and set aside for at least 15
Beat the egg with maida, baking powder, aji na moto and add to the marinated chicken just before frying. Add about 3-4 tbsp of water to make the batter of dropping consistency.
Cooking
Heat oil in a small deep kadhai. When the oil is hot turn heat to medium low and add the chicken pieces.
Fry each side for about 3 minutes so that the chicken is cooked inside. Fry till brown on the outside.
Remove from oil and place on a paper towel to soak up excess oil.
Serving Suggestions
Serve hot with tea/coffee.
