Stuffed preparation with spiced chickpea filling - a creative Bengali vegetarian dish.
Preparation
Boil potato, peel and mash.
Mash paneer/chana coarsely.
Mix paneer with all the ingredients and the filling
Cooking
Preparing Bhaja Masala: 1. Roast cumin seeds, coriander seeds, black pepper, and dry red chillies on low heat for 3-4 minutes until fragrant. 2. Grind to a powder.
Making the Filling: 1. Boil potato, peel and mash well.
2. Mash paneer/chana coarsely.
3. Mix mashed potato with mashed paneer.
4. Add chopped green chillies, salt, and bhaja masala.
5. Mix all ingredients well until combined.
6. The filling is ready to use for puris, shingara, or other stuffed snacks.
